Janice Elaine "Jan" Burris of New Concord, fell into the loving arms of Jesus the evening of February 25, 2025.
Her journey was nothing short of amazing, as she told Alzheimer's who is boss for several years and gave life all she had. She was still singing and dancing her way through life, even up until the end of her earthly song. Janice excelled in many roles, including childcare provider, gardener, beach/outdoor lover & Avon lady, but spent most of her days as administrative assistant/Athletic Secretary in the Rolling Hills school system. She retired from Mideast Career and Technology Center in Buffalo, Ohio.
She was an avid bowler, animal lover, Euchre player, and was "Mama Jan" to many. She was sure to share her wit and smile & a distinctive laugh everywhere she went! She loved and served well, including being a caregiver for several elderly before she then was the one receiving the care.
