Father God welcomed his faithful son, Toney Lee Oakley (83), to his eternal life in heaven on August 2, 2024. Toney left this earth in his home continuously surrounded by his loving family. Toney was born on January 24, 1941 to the late Rass Sr. and Darlene (Baer) Oakley Richardson in Carey's Run, Sciotoville, Ohio.
In November 1964, Toney met the love of his life, Cynthia Rae Hoots, and then later wed on May 1, 1965. In addition to his wife of 59 years, Toney leaves two daughters, Lori Lee (Jon) Moorehead and Kellie Rae (Tim) Brown. Additionally, he is survived by grandchildren, Taylor Fillbach, Tanner (Lyndsey) Moorehead, Brandon (Haley) Brown, Samie Brown, great-grandchildren Xayia Moorehead, Oakley Fillbach, Boston Moorehead, sister-in-law Teddy Ball, step-brother John (Jennifer) Oakley and many nieces and nephews.
