Ruth Ann Ellison, 84, of Lore City, passed away Wednesday (June 12, 2024) at Countryview Assisted Living Center, Lore City.
Ruth Ann was born on May 17, 1940 in Lore City where she was a lifelong resident. She is the daughter of the late Harry and Ethel (Moore) Ellison Sr.
Ruth Ann was highly fond of the town she grew up in. She enjoyed walking to Vic's restaurant or the Lore City Post Office. She could be seen riding around town with her brother, Harry, in his Jeep. She enjoyed babysitting for many of the area children. Ruth Ann liked watching Westerns and old TV shows such as Little House on the Prairie. She always loved her can of Pepsi and her sweets.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Harry Ellison Jr., Rich (Barb) Ellison, and Dave (Judy) Ellison; and one sister, Elizabeth (Steve) Basalla.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
